Clare’s aesthetic varies between intricate body work, such as hand drawn tattoos and paint like finishes to flawless, simple make-up with an edge. Her understanding of skin and tones is renowned by photographers for achieving skin that pushes beyond the boundaries of post-production.
Clare began her make-up career in Perth, Australia in 2000 where she studied Nutrition and Food analysis, which has helped her advise women on lifestyle and diet choices to achieve the best skin possible. After studying and working with make-up maestro Richard Sharah in Sydney for two years she decided to start working freelance.
Clare later moved to New York where she spent five years establishing her reputation as an international session make-up artist. Moving to London in 2008, Clare now works between the two cities and is requested by leading magazines, advertising clients and celebrities.
She has produced editorial work for the likes of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Elle, Crash, Nylon, GQ, Wonderland and more, while her client list includes Chanel, Burberry, Rimmel, Nike, Coach, Converse and Net a Porter. Clare is also held in very high regard by her VIP clients, such as Jenna Coleman, Vanessa Kirby, Paloma Faith, Rosamund Pike, Suki Waterhouse, Alexa Chung and Holliday Grainger.
Through her years, Clare has gained in-depth knowledge of skincare, skin analysis and customer service, and has been invited to present make-up demonstrations at events and in-store.
